Retreat Participant Code of Conduct

StarlitePhi is a Buddhist community rooted in compassion, respect, and ethical conduct. To maintain a safe and supportive environment for all, participants agree to the following:

 

  1. Respect for Community

  • Treat all participants, teachers, and staff with kindness and dignity
  • Honor confidentiality of personal sharing
  • Respect differences in background, identity, and belief

 

  1. Ethical Behavior

Participants agree to refrain from:

  • Harassment or discrimination
  • Aggressive or disruptive behavior
  • Sexual misconduct
  • Theft or property damage
  • Bringing weapons or illegal substances

 

  1. Retreat Guidelines

Participants agree to:

  • Follow instructions from teachers and staff
  • Observe periods of silence when applicable
  • Participate in activities to the extent they are able
  • Maintain a substance‑free environment
  • Use electronic devices only in designated areas

 

  1. Care for the Land & Facilities

  • Keep spaces clean
  • Dispose of waste properly
  • Respect wildlife and natural areas
  • Use facilities mindfully

 

  1. Safety & Well‑Being

  • Notify staff of any safety concerns
  • Seek support if experiencing distress
  • Refrain from behavior that endangers self or others

 

  1. Grounds for Removal

StarlitePhi reserves the right to remove any participant who violates this Code of Conduct. Removal may occur without refund.
